August 3, 2026
Hello, real estate professionals.
Inman Connect wrapped in San Diego with a blunt message: AI that waits for your prompt isn't earning its keep. Four launches this week hand you a task list instead of a blank chat box.
In today's AI rundown:
Lofty ships an agentic workspace and a buyer-readiness tool
Martha Stewart co-founds a free AI app for homeowners
Inside Real Estate opens no-code AI workflows to teams
A $6.1B brokerage puts its transaction stack on AI
A copy-paste AI blueprint for your next listing appointment

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
๐ Lofty launches Cowork and House.ai
The Rundown: Lofty debuted an agentic AI workspace for agents plus a consumer tool that gets buyers financially ready before they call you.
The details:
Cowork opens with a prioritized queue, not an empty prompt box. One click fires mass texts or hands a workflow to a custom AI agent.
House.ai helps consumers build credit, save, and calculate affordability, then routes "offer-ready" buyers into the Lofty network.
Lofty cites a Wells Fargo survey: 70% of first-time buyers say they understand the process, but 90% got closing costs wrong.
Why it matters: The bet is that AI fails when the agent has to think first.
๐งน Martha Stewart co-founded an AI app for homeowners
The Rundown: Hint launched a free iOS app that builds a profile of any home from public records, then runs maintenance from there.
The details:
Enter an address and it pulls property records, soil, air quality, and utility data.
Upload inspections, warranties, and insurance policies, then ask questions about them in plain English.
Backed by $10M from Slow Ventures, Tusk Venture Partners, and Energy Impact Partners. Free, no ads, no subscription.
Pro tip: Cheap post-close touchpoint. Add it to your closing gift email and stay useful after handoff.
โ๏ธ Streams Studio builds AI workflows without code
The Rundown: Inside Real Estate launched a no-code platform that automates across the tools teams already run.
The details:
Connects CRM, marketing, transaction management, and communications into one AI layer.
Workflows span both the BoldTrail ecosystem and third-party platforms.
Invite-only rollout. Same roundup: Side opened SideOS to outside brokerages, and Antares Labs launched with $7.25M seed.
๐ค A $6.1B brokerage hands its transactions to AI
The Rundown: FirstTeam is deploying Purlin's AI operating model across contracts, negotiations, transactions, and client communication.
The details:
Agents work by voice, text, email, or chat instead of logging into separate tools.
FirstTeam did $6.12B across 5,978 transactions in 2025, No. 34 nationally by volume.
Purlin says 40,000-plus agents in North America already use the platform.
What we're watching: Consolidation, not addition. If it works, brokerages start cutting tools instead of buying them.
AI TRAINING
๐ Walk in with the marketing already done
The Rundown: Jimmy Burgess shared a prep routine that puts finished marketing in the seller's hands before they sign anything.
The steps:
Draft the MLS description before the appointment, plus two more versions in different tones. Let the seller pick.
Generate launch content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. Print it.
Ask AI for 20 marketing ideas specific to that home and buyer. Use the three you like.
Bring it in a folder. The seller stops imagining your plan and starts reading it.
The lesson: AI creates the draft, you create the trust. Prompts are copy-paste ready in the article.
